Obi Cubana’s wife, Ebele Iyiegbu, has said the family is behind him after he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday.
In a post on Instagram, she said her husband is a strong and resilient man and said even Jesus went through worse.
The Chairman of Cubana Group was picked up by the EFCC on alleged tax fraud on Monday and spent the night in custody.

The arrest of Obi Cubana reverberated in the media on Monday with many calling for the arrest of disgraced police officer, Abba Kyari, who is wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for alleged involvement with internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, known as Hushppupy.
Activist Deji Adeyanju said he warned Obi Cubana about his lavish lifestyle when he buried his mother early this year in a flamboyant ceremony.
According to him, he was making himself a person of interest to the authorities who will scrutinise his moves.
Obi Cubana has since been released from custody.
