A group of Nigerians known as Project Nigeria, on Wednesday in Abuja bought the expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the
Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba.

The expression of interest form the nomination form  cost N30 million and N70 million respectively.
Although Nwajiuba has never openly declared his intention to contest next year’s presidential election, he has now become the first to obtain the forms, a requisite for the contest on the APC platform.
Abubakar Usman, the Special Assistant on New Media to Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, disclosed this in a tweet on Wednesday.
According to the senate president’s side, Usman in a tweet: “The Minister of State for Education,  becomes the first person to pick the APC Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the APC Presidential Primary as a group of Nigerians raised over N100m from where they purchased the forms for him.”
Nwajiuba is known to be a humble but very strategic and effective politician, as could be seen in his obtaining the forms first without noise or even declaring his intention unlike what other interested parties are doing.
