The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of Osun has told the opposition PDP in the state and whoever thinks there will be a vacancy in Bola Ige House come 2022 to stop chasing shadow, noting that the taste of the pudding is in the eating.
The party insisted that there won’t be any vacancy for anyone, other than its current occupant till 2026, saying that Oyetola is doing very well and people of Osun are enjoying his style of governance, and Osun people will never allow any intruder to come and draw Osun back or squander the progress of the State.
This was contained in a statement issued from the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy and signed by its Director, Barr. Kunle Oyatomi and made available to the media on Thursday in Osogbo, the state capital.
Oyatomi explained further that Gov. Oyetola as a visionary leader, who good people of Osun are proud of, cannot be unseated by the opposition PDP in the state which has shown itself as ‘a bunch of expired political opportunists who can’t offer anything meaningful to the development of Osun except their pockets alone’.
He said it is unthinkable for the opposition PDP with its unsettled house of commotion to even think of wrestling power from the ruling party in 2022, describing the PDP in the state ‘as a confused party without root as it neither a State Chairman nor office.
The Party’s Chief Publicist explained that with the giant strides of Gov. Oyetola in all sectors, any politician or political party that wants to contest with Gov Oyetola in 2022 will be wasting his or her resources.
Oyatomi eulogized the people’s governor of Osun, Alh. Oyetola for the massive achievements recorded, adding that despite the fact that Osun has witnessed massive developmental projects, the governor has not taken either local or foreign loan to fund any of the projects in the last two years.
He said that the entire people of Osun have seen it that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is reliable, responsible and focussed as Osun is very safe in the hands of Oyetola led-APC administration.
