Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South and the chairman, senate committee on army has declared that no budget is perfect.
The lawmaker stated this on Wednesday, while briefing pressmen at the Senate Press Centre at the National Assembly complex.
Speaking on the early passage of the budget, Ndume commended President Buhari for bringing first in time and secondly the 9th assembly for the full cooperation.

“I really want to commend Mr. President for bringing the budget first in time and secondly the 9th Senate for their full cooperation to pass the budget in a recording time.
The budget which was signed on Tuesday accidentally as a birthday present to Nigerians to mark the president’s 77th birthday stands to be corrected where needs be as no budget is perfect.
“No budget is perfect so there are abnormalities here and there, that is why the Nigerian constitution takes care of that, if there are omissions or certain figures that Nigerians thinks are contentious, the president said will be studied carefully by the executive not hindering the implementation.
If any of such things are identified, the budget can be corrected by way of amendment, or if certain things are missing in the budget, it can also be corrected by means of supplementary budget, Ndume added.
