Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to the incarcerated leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has accused the Presidency of being behind the continued detention of the pro-Biafra agitator.
In a post on his X account on Friday, Ezimakor posited that the Supreme Court had nothing to do with Kanu’s continued incarceration.
He opined that with the release of Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba Nation agitator, lawyer said this while stressing cannot continue to detain Kanu.

“The persisting incarceration of MAZI NNAMDI KANU has become more unsustainable with the release of SUNDAY IGBOHO, especially as it was done with the support of Yoruba leaders & Tinubu (@officialABAT). To be sure, it’s the Presidency that is holding #MNK, not the Supreme Court, ” Ejimakor wrote.
