Nnamdi Kanu calls for end to ‘senseless’ killings in S’East

Detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has called for immediate stop to the senseless killings going on in the Southeastern part of the country.

Mazi Kanu made the call from the detention camp of the Department of State Services (DSS), in Abuja.

He embattled freedom fighter expressed his angst over the spate of bloodletting and insecurity in the South East.

Mazi Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, spokes the minds of his elder brother after a visit to him (MAzi Kanu) in detention said he was saddened by the reports of Killings across South East.

He said that Mazi Kanu distaste bloodshed “and felt too bad that blood suckers had been on the prowl in the South East almost unchallenged.”

The IPOB leader was quoted to have said that all those behind the current killings in South East must be held accountable for their atrocities, saying that Ndigbo are not known for cannibalism.

The younger Kanu also said that his brother, however, called for the release of Mrs. Ukamaka Ejezie otherwise called ‘ Mama Biafra’.
