Nipsey Hussle’s ‘killer’ indicted on murder charges

Eric Holder, a 29-year-old man alleged to have gunned down Nipsey hussel in front of his Los Angeles clothing store, has been indicted by a grand jury presiding over the case.

Unsealed on Tuesday, the indictment alleged that the suspect used a handgun and caused the “great bodily injury and death” of the late hip hop singer.

The Los Angeles district attorney’s office, while announcing the arrangement said that Holder was indicted on one count of murder, two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm, and one count of firearm possession by a felon.

Holder, who “pleaded not guilty to the charges” and is due to “return for a pretrial hearing on June 18, in Department 100 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center,” had his bail set at $6.53 million as investigations continue. If convicted as charged, Holder faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

Michael Moore, chief of Los Angeles police department (LAPD), had talked about Holder’s personal dispute with Hussle while speaking at a press conference after the rapper’s death. He alleged that Holder showed up severally before gunning down the singer.

“Mr. Holder walked up on multiple occasions and engaged in a conversation with Nipsey and the others that were there. He left and subsequently came back armed with a handgun and purposefully and repeatedly fired, striking and killing Nipsey Hussle,” Moore had said
