MTN subscribers in Nigeria are having connection difficulty.
The subscribers took to social media to express their frustration making calls through the network.
An aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Bashir Ahmad tweeted that his MTN has stopped working.
His tweet provoked a slew of reactions. Others responded saying they are also having difficulty using the network to make calls.
MTN is yet to react to the glitch. It is clear if the ongoing National Identity registration has anything to do with the glitch.
Many say that it may be a warning sign from the network telling them to link their NIN to their SIM cards.
Others also said it may be location related as they continue to have the network.

That few minutes MTN had a “glitch”, is them testing what it’s like to block numbers that have not linked their NIN.
