Managing Director of Blue Diamond Logistics; China and NIDO South Asia Coordinator, Mr. Festus Mbisiogu, has announced the decision of his organisation to provide meals to Nigerians stranded in Guangzhou, China, for 5 days.
This is to help ameliorate the sufferings of the Nigerians who have recently been caught up in the Corona virus controversy in the Chinese province.
Many of the affected Nigerians, who had to endure a two-week quarantine at their own expense, have now been shut out of both their homes and denied hotel accommodation.
They are now left to sleep on the street, without any provisions, as the controversy rages on.
Mbisiogu said he is coordinating with the President of the Nigerian Union in Guanzhou to ensure that meals get to the affected persons daily.
It would be recalled that during the week, Mbisiogu extended similar gesture to his Umuchima, Imo state community, where he distributed several thousand tubers of yam, over 100 bags of rice and six hundred cartons of noodles.
