Nigeria on Sunday witnessed no new case of the novel coronavirus, data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) show.
Data obtained from Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Imo, Sokoto, Nasarawa, Oyo, Ekiti, Kaduna, Edo and Rivers States show no case of new infections.

Howerver, the NCDC said Sunday’s report did not include data from Lagos, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria.
Nigeria has over 167,000 cases of coronavirus with 163,000 discharges and 2,117 deaths.
According to the World Health Organisation, a country is declared pandemic-free when it posts no new cases for 14 consecutive days.
