#NIGERIA DECIDES2023: Tinubu reacts to losing Lagos to Peter Obi, says ‘You win some, you lose some’

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , has taken his loss of Lagos, his strongest base, to Mr. Peter Obi of Labour Party in his stride.

Obi scored 582,664 to defeat Tinubu, polled 541,850.

However, Tinubu, has urged Lagos residents to avoid any act of violence , saying the result of the vote should not be cause any problem.

According to him, “The fact that the APC narrowly lost Lagos State to another party should not be the reason for violence. As a democrat, you win some, you lose some. We must allow the process to continue unhindered across the country while we maintain peace and decorum.”
