The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the winner of the 2023 Presidential election held, in Kwara State, last Saturday.
According to INEC, Tinubu polled 263,572 of the total votes cast in the Presidential election exercise conducted across the 16 Local Government Areas of the state.

While the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, scored 136,909 votes to emerge second and Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi scored 31,166 to come a distant third.
The results of the election are expected to be transmitted to the National Collation Centre in Abuja.
