#Nigeria Decides: INEC shifts voting in Bayelsa to Feb. 26, Edo to March 11

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shifted voting in 141 polling units in Bayelsa to Sunday, February 26.

According to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, while giving situation report on the ongoing 2023 election, the shift was as a result o more Bimodal Voter Authentication Systems carted away by suspected political thugs.

He said activities of the political thugs also affected some local government areas in Edo State which also neccessitated the postponement of voting in the state to March 11.
