The Nigeria Interfate Action Association (NIFAA), in partnership with Ebonyi State Ministry of Health, has embarked on advocacy to the state stakeholders in the fight against malaria scourge in the state.
This was made known during stakeholders meeting held, on Wednesday, at Osborne Lapam Hotel, Abakaliki, the state capital.
Delivering his address, NIFAA representative, Mr. Iheanyi Kalu, stated that the mandate of the non-government organisation would support the Ebonyi State Government drive advocacy specifically Domestic Resource Mobilisation.
According to Kalu, “We cannot continue to replay on support coming from outside but we should try as much as possible to begin to think inward to see how we can be generating resources internally to carry out malaria intervention in the state”.
