The Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) on Saturday inaugurated remodelled Golf Club for overall development of sport for its personnel.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) report that the inauguration was held at the NDA old campus Ribadu cantonment in Kaduna State.
The Commandant of the Academy, Maj-Gen. Adeniyi Oyebade said the remodelled golf club is also to aid the overall sport development of its personnel.
According to him, we train very hard we work very hard and of course at the end of the day or week we should have a place to come and unstress ourselves, relax and play game of golf.
“And along that line we thought it was very necessary to bring this place back to life.

“The place has been abandoned for many years,” he said.
The place is not only for our personnel but also for our friends and members of the public.
“Members of the public can also come and pay a token of N2,000 fee for them to play,” Oyebade said.
He added that apart from golfing, the place is also for relaxation and is a club house, one can come and have a programme, occasion and lodging.
“We have another 11 furnished rooms, restaurant and comfortable bar and the place is a secured area,” Oyebade disclosed. (NAN)
