NASFAT picks new exco

A new set of officers to constitute the executive of the Nasrul Lahi l fatih Society (NASFAT) has been picked.

In a release issued by Publicity Secretary of the organisation,  Banji Busari, it said Alhaji Mumeen Olaniyi Yussuf will pilot the affairs of the Society for next two years.

The release is quoted as follows: “Following the outcome of the Shurah report submitted to the Board of Trustees and the National Council of Elders of Nasrul Lahi l fatih Society (NASFAT), recently, a new set of officers to run the Society from 2019 through 2021 has been chosen.

“While receiving the report, Chairman of Board of Trustees of NASFAT and also chairman of the joint session, Alhaji Abdullateef Adewale Olasupo, commended the Shura Committee led by Alhaji Afunku for carrying out a painstaking job of selecting the best and experienced leaders for the Society.

“Based on provisions of the Constitution of the Society, the Joint Session has released the final list of successful candidates who will be piloting the affairs of the Society for two years.

“The new helmsman of the Society is Alhaji Mumeen Olaniyi Yussuf ,the former Managing Director of Accenture in Nigeria and now the Managing Director, Verraki Partners. He came on board

“With his rich private sector background and experience which, it is expected, will be deployed for the  accelerated  development of the Society.

“The 25 member Executive led by Alhaji Niyi Yussuf will be inaugurated on Sunday October 20 at NASFAT Islamic Centre Aseese.Ogun state.

“The highlight of the event will be the handing over of the official flag by the outgoing President Engr. Kamil Yomi Bolarinwa to the incoming President Alh Mumeen Olaniyi Yussuf.

“The  inauguration lecture with the theme, Leadership As A Trust from Allah,will be delivered by the Chief Imam Yaba College of Technology Imam Salman Saheed .

“The event will be witnessed by the Governors of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and other distinguished members of the Society.

“When inaugurated, Alhaji Yussuf will be the 7th President of NASFAT”.
