President of the Nigeria Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs. Salamatu Farouk Yahaya, has applauded and appreciated the Commander Corps of Engineers, Maj.-Gen. Olayinka Kadiri, for his massive support and contributions to the humanitarian activities of NAOWA during a courtesy call at the Corps Headquarters in Bonny Cantonment, on Wednesday, Lagos State.
While stating the purpose of the visit, Mrs. Yahaya appreciated the efforts of the Corps Commander and his wife who is the Coordinator NAOWA Corps of Engineers Chapter, Mrs. Adebukola Kadiri, for sustaining the legacies of NAOWA founding members by constructing a NAOWA Model Creche Nursery & Primary School and a NAOWA Secretariat at Sappers Barracks, Ijebu-Ode.

The Corps Commander, in his remarks, expressed appreciation to the President NAOWA for finding out time to pay him a courtesy visit which he described “a memorable one”.
Gen. Kadiri described Mrs. Yahaya as a mother that loves and promotes the acts of giving that have impacted enormously in humanity.
Highpoints of the visit were presentation of souvenirs, gift items and group photograph.
