A 42-year-old technician, Bello Abudu, whose wife, Blessing, is seeking the dissolution of their marriage, owing to infidelity, has told an Igando Customary Court, in Lagos State, that his wife pushed him into adultery.
He said his wife had told him that he could impregnate or make love with another lady, and that she had done something concerning his male organ.
Bello said he decided to try, to confirm his wife’s threat and the trial with another lady, he said, resulted into pregnancy.

He said his wife refused to acknowledge that he is the father of the child.
He urged the Court not to grant the prayer of his wife, stressing that he still loves her.
Mr. Bello Abudu, 36, accused her husband of denying her sex. She lamented that her husband is making babies out of wedlock.
Mr. Adeniyi Koledoye, President of the Court, urged both parties to maintain peace. He adjourned the case to July 25 for judgment.
