My ambition is to bring positive changes to Akinyele/Lagelu constituency, says Aponmade, Oyo PDP House of Reps. aspirant

A frontline aspirant for the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal House of Representatives constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State in the coming 2023 election, Barr. Akeem Aponmade, has said he is in the race so as to bring positive çhanges to the lives of the people in the Constituency.
The legal practitioner turned politician spoke during one of his visits to the constituency in continuation of his networking with stakeholders and political leaders in the area.
Aponmade who was welcomed by throngs of supporters at the Akinyele local government, met with elders and leaders of the party.
While addressing them, he promised to ‘bring positive changes in social, economic and infrastructural developments of Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency.’
“I am in the race to bring about the development our people have been asking for over the years. I am in the race to impact lives positively most importantly to make sure you feel the presence of the federal government in our Constituency,” he told the gathering.
Earlier during the week, the politician had also held a Free Medical Outreach sponsored by the Aponmade Foundation.
The outreach was designed to bring hope to people with eye challenges. Held at the headquarters of Lagelu local government, Iyana-Offa and Alegongo Health Care Centre, Akobo, Ibadan, the outreach offered 400 persons free eye care services, free eyeglasses and free charges. It was declared open by the Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Kazeem Gbadamosi.
