MTN group has renewed its plan to reduce its operation in Nigeria.
The telecom operator intends to offload 15% stake to the subscribers by selling in smaller in bits due to the coronavirus also known as Covid-19.

According to the Chief Financial Officer of the company, Ralph Mupita, MTN would reduce its majority stake in Nigeria.
So far, the business remains the company’s largest market.
Mupita added that the South Africa-based operator was preparing for a larger increase in data usage, as more markets shut down for Covid-19.
