A woman and her two children were on Friday kidnapped in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State by unidentified gunmen.
The victims were abducted about 7pm near a petrol station at Oko town junction area in the town said to belong to the husband of the abducted woman.
The suspected gunmen reportedly invaded the area, firing gunshots sporadically into the air.
It was gathered that two commercial motorcycle riders (okada) were hit in the process and rushed to an unknown hospital in the area for treatment.
It is not clear if the abductors had contacted the family of the victims.
The state police spokesman, Okasanmi Ajayi, said he had not been officially briefed on the incident.
