For allegedly kidnapping an SS III female student and killing her for ritual purpose, four persons have been burnt alive Edo State.
The suspects, including a woman, were set ablaze by a mob in Otuo, Owan East Local Government Area over allegation of killing the secondary school girl.The girl was a student of Azama College in Ikhuera quarters of the town, who was running errands for a neighbour on Sunday night.Sadly, the girl was reportedly apprehended by the suspects and beheaded for ritual purposes.

When she failed to return, her distraught parents had raised alarm. However, one of the suspects was arrested in the early hours of yesterday while attempting to dump the victim’s body. He confessed his role in the crime and also named his collaborators, including the female suspect, who allegedly performed the rituals for them.It was gathered that the woman’s house was razed while she was burnt to death with two of the boys, who allegedly perpetrated the heinous act. The third suspect was also later apprehended and also burnt alive.
Two of the boys were siblings and hailed from Ikhueran quarters, Otuo.
