The Association of Digital Media Core Advocates, ADMCA, has announced that the 2024 Anambra Media Excellence Awards will take place on September 15 in Anambra Capital City Awka.
Part of activities ahead of the award ceremony is the hosting of past recipients of the award to a dinner tagged ‘AMEA All-Star Nite Out”.
According to the National President, Association of Digital Media Core Advocates, Publisher of the Hardcore Newspapers online, and CEO of AMEA, Dr. Chuma-Odili Harris popularly known as Ogene Igbo, special awards will be given in different categories such as the Media Personality of the year and Journalist of the year.
Media professionals and journalists across various niches of the industry are expected to participate while the award lecture will be delivered by Prof Charles Nwogu.
Harris further said the awards, which is the 6th in its series, has celebrated the stars in the online media, advertising and marketing industry over the years.
“Through a series of recognition awards, ADMCA provides a platform to honor achievement across the media, content and publishing industry. This we have done over the years. This year’s AMEA is a special edition where we will celebrate past awardees, and give special recognition awards to deserving media personality of the year and journalist of the year. Unlike previous editions, there will be no polls in this year’s edition of AMEA. The Jury will handle the nominees and submit their verdict.” Dr Chuma-Odili said.
This year’s edition will take place at the Apple Valley Hotel and Suites, Awka.
