A 23-year-old man, Yusuf Mohammed was, on Thursday, remanded in prison by an Ado-Ekiti Magistrate Court, over alleged murder of his wife-to-be, identified as Safiat Yakubu.

The accused pleaded not guilty, but the Magistrate, Mrs. Kehinde Awosika, ordered that he should be remanded in prison, pending the DPP’s advice.
It was learnt that Yusuf had paid the bride price of the deceased.
