Man in Delta police net for selling fake alcoholic drinks
Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a man for selling fake alcoholic drinks made with ethanol, water, and flavour.
Bright Edafe, the state police spokesperson, in a statement on Sunday, warned the public to be mindful of the places they purchase drinks.
The statement read: “This suspect, Chinemem Adigwe, was arrested in Bomadi LGA.
“He mixes ethanol, water, and flavor, then buys empty bottles of Gordon’s, Chelsea, and even mc dowel, puts his fake drinks inside, and then sells them to consumers as if it’s the real drinks he is selling.
“Pls, let’s be mindful of the people and places we buy drinks from.”
