A 30-year-old man who ploughed his car into cyclists and police officers outside the British House of Parliament in August 2018 was found guilty of attempted murder on Wednesday.
The man, Salih Khater, swerved his car towards officers in the Parliament Square on August 14, 2018, injuring a number of pedestrians.

The Old Bailey heard that Khater wanted to cause maximum carnage, local media reported.
Khater, a student, had denied two counts of attempted murder, claiming that he got lost around Westminster and panicked.
The jury rejected his explanation and found him guilty. (NAN)
