Illicit sex between a married man and his lover ended in shame and tragedy in Ekori, Yakkur Local Government Area of Cross River State at the weekend.
The man, simply identified as Eyom, reportedly died during an ill-fated sex romp with his lover, a married woman, known as Grace Odi.
Grace and her husband, who hailed from Assiga community, had reportedly gone to the neighbouring Ekori community for a wedding ceremony when the adulterous woman played a fast one on her husband and sneaked to a prearranged sex rendezvous with her lover, which ended in tragedy.
The deceased reportedly started jerking and foaming in the mouth in the course of the sex romp and eventually died.
According to a source, the deceased had “told some of his friends that he was going to give his girlfriend who is married a good time and so needed to increase his performance by taking some sex-enhancing drugs.
“It was when his identity was revealed that some of his friends remembered what he told them and a search for his married girlfriend began and was eventually located at the wedding ceremony by the staff of the guest house who booked them into the room.”
it was gathered that the police have detained the woman while an investigation continues. Meanwhile, the remains of the man have been deposited in the morgue at Ugep General Hospital.
