The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has been urged to beam his searchlight into the investigation of an alleged peadophile, Mr Abdulramon Amure, who recently raped his three-year-old daughter to death.
Making this call, was a Non-Profit Organisation, Advocates For Children and Vulnerable Persons Network ( ACVPN).
It was learnt that Amure, a teacher by profession, is currently being held by police operatives at the Area A Police Command, Lion Building.
According to the group, the suspect had also raped countless children but instead of being prosecuted by the police, the suspect always got bailed with the intervention of some “powerful” men on Lagos Island.
The middle aged man, was also alleged to have turned his niece, into a sex toy for the past two years.
He reportedly made video recordings of his sexual escapade, and threatened to post same on social media, whenever she refused to dance to his tune.
A statement by Mr. Ebenezer Omejilile, the manager of ACVPN reads: ” Two mothers of the survivors’ abused, opened up that the perpetrator has been arrested on several occasions for this same crime by Adeniji Adele Family Support Unit (FSU), before you say jack, his God fathers would have taken his bail.
“ It was further clarified that the 3 years old victim that died of complications as a result of the abuse was actually his own biological daughter.
“ The baby was his first child. His wife could not withstand his presence and threats ,she had to relocate to Ghana for her to be able to overcome the shock and pain.

“Quote me any where the list is endless, this guy and his cohorts made sexual abuse case a socio norms on the Island ,they made the vulnerable persons more vulnerable because each time they are arrested their God fathers secure their bail. ”
According to Elkana Bala, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who confirmed the arrest of the suspect said: “The suspect is arrested by our operatives at Lion building. Investigation is ongoing. The suspect will be charged to Court. ”
