For sodomising a 17-year-old boy (name withheld) in Igbogbo area of Lagos State, the Lagos State Police Command has arrested one 28-year-old, Seyi Adelana.
The suspect, it was learnt, had abducted the victim for four days, January 3 to January 7. Within the period, the suspect allegedly had countless number of anal sex with the victim.
Following the sudden disappearance of the victim, his mother had engaged neighbours in an aggressive search for him.
She had however reported the matter to the police when she found her missing son in Adelana’s house.
According to Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Imohimi Edgal, who paraded the suspect during a press briefing at the Command Headquarters, in Ikeja, the Gender section of the Command is currently investigating the matter.
CP Edgar said, “The mother of the 17-year-old had reported a case of sodomy against Adelana.

“The complainant alleged that her son suddenly disappeared from home on January 3, 2019. A search party was raised to look for him.
“Four days after, being January 7th, 2019, he was found in the house of the suspect, Adelana, at No. 11 Itumaro Street, in Igbogbo, Ikorodu.
“When the young boy was debriefed at the Gender Unit, he narrated that the suspect kept him in his house and had been having anal sex with him.
“He also mentioned the name of one other boy whom the suspect had been sexually abusing. Meanwhile, the suspect confessed to have committed the crime. ”
The state’s Police boss further stated that the suspect will be charged to court at the end of the investigation.
