Malaysian Police on Tuesday shot dead two suspected kidnappers, believed to be part of a kidnapping gang targeting foreigners.
State news Agency, Bernama, reported that police raided a house in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur after a tip-off involving a kidnapping.

Police official, Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yusoff, was quoted as saying that the police had rescued a kidnap victim, a Bangladeshi man in his 30s, who was kidnapped last Friday.
The suspects are believed to be members of a syndicate, which is involved in the kidnapping of foreigners that operates in Kuala Lumpur and the nearby Selangor state.
Police also seized a pistol and a machete at the scene. (NAN)
