The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has reacted to controversy trailing testimonies from its members which has gone viral on social media.
Recently, clips of members of the church giving testimony had gone viral. In one of the clips, a woman was heard testifying how she disarmed armed robbers and collected their rifles after she shouted ‘Lord of Chosen’.
In another clip, a man was also seen testifying how he rode on the back of a Lion and the Lion showed him a direction and waved at him.
The clips have elicited mockery from Nigerians who have condemned the church members for fabricating their testimonies.
However, reacting, the church through its Head of Public Relations and Media, Pastor Chidi Louis, dismissed claims that the church fabricates testimony l.
Chidi clarified that the viral video of the woman claiming to have disarmed four armed robbers and taking possession of an “AK-27,” was a testimony from her dream.
“Nigerians should disregard the fake video and visit our church platform to listen to the complete testimony for better understanding. The woman’s story occurred in a dream, not in reality,” he stated.
He said the clip circulating on social media was edited by bloggers whom he described as ‘wicked and devilish“ and warned Nigerians not to ‘believe everything you see on the internet. ‘
“Bloggers often edit content to ridicule the work of God. Most of these bloggers are wicked and devilish.”
He , however, ”denounced the clip as fake on its platform and urged Nigerians to disregard it. He noted that the full video of the woman’s testimony and other testimonies can be found on the church’s TikTok handle.
