The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management (LASTMA), Chris Olakpe, is dead.
The late Olakpe, a retired Assistant-Inspector General of Police, gave up the ghost on Sunday at a hospital.
Sources have it that the deceased died after a brief illness.

Confirming the death, the LASTMA Director of Research and Statistics, Isaac Adetimiro, said the late Olakpe, did not show any sign of being sick before his demise.
He said: “We heard about it this morning. He did not show any sign of any sickness. We are really shocked.”
