“Pupils are to expect a lot of changes, as the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made every possible attempt to improve on the teaching and the learning outputs.

“They have introduced technology into our classrooms, which is a departure from the traditional teaching in the classrooms.

“This introduction is a big paradigm shift, in the sense that it is multifaceted and multidimensional approach, to improve the teaching and learning outputs,” Alawiye-King said.

According to the chairman, the initiative is geared toward improving the ease with which schools and classrooms are being run.

He said that the essence of classrooms management is to make it more interactive, because of the dynamic atmosphere of various pupils from different backgrounds.

“As a teacher, he or she must be able to manage the classroom, inculcating the right values and discipline into the pupils.

“So, with the introduction of the tabs, which every teacher has, we expect positive results from schools and positive output from the teachers,” Alawiye-King said.

The Head Teacher, St. Francis Primary School, Maryland, Mrs Lydia Balogun, said that schools had resumed fully, and the teachers were ready to deliver the goods to the pupils.

She expressed optimism over the use of tabs and believed that it would improve the lot of the students.

“We have resumed fully for our second term, and we are ready to deliver the goods for our students.

“This period is really different, as the government has included teaching and learning equipment like technology into our classrooms.

“The teachers also have been well trained ahead of the present term, on how to manage their classrooms to the best of their capabilities,” Balogun said.
