Lagos State government will, on April 23 begin its annual ministerial briefing three years after it was suspended by the state government.

The annual briefing is a month-long programme where each ministries and agencies in the state brief the media on what they had done and achieved in the previous year as well as other things they plan to achieve in the coming years.

While speaking at a briefing on Thursday, the Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso said the state government decided to resuscitate the annual briefing so as to intimate Lagosians on some projects Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had done since he returned for a second time in office.

He added that this year’s briefing which starts on Tuesday, April 23 and ends on May 28, is a prelude to marking one year anniversary of Sanwo-Olu:s return as governor for a second time in office on May 29.

“ At the ministerial briefing, we would inform Lagosians on what we had done in the last one year and other projects we are working on such as the Lekki airport, the fourth mainland bridge among other iconic projects,” Omotoso said.

“Each ministry will tell Lagosians what they have done and what to expect from them in another year,” he further said.

Omotoso expressed confidence on the readiness and ability of the commissioners and head of agencies to deliver at the briefing.
