The Lagos State Government has announced temporary closure of Yaba overpass for two weeks, beginning from February 9 till February 23.
According to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde on Tuesday, the lane closure was necessary to commence soil testing along Murtala Mohammed Way, Ojuelegba Road (Tejuosho) as part of the traffic management plan to actualise the Lagos Rail Mass Transit Red line phase 1, Oyingbo to Agbado.
Motorists were advised to utilise the main carriageway during the temporary closure.
