The Lagos State Government has sealed the popular food produce market, Mile 12 International Market, as well as the nearby popular Owode Onirin market.

Acting on the directives of Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, enforcement operatives from LAWMA and KAI in a joint operation in the early hours of Friday, October 13, sealed the two markets along Ikorodu Road in Kosofe Local Government Area for what they called indiscriminate dumping and burning of refuse, filthy environment, blocked and littered drainages, menace of illegal and Indiscriminate parking and abandonment of trucks on the major road thereby impeding free flow of traffic.
