Lagos Continental Hotel has once again made a strong statement about the brand’s commitment to excellent services by winning the prestigious title of Hotel of the Year at the 2024 Hotel Managers Conference.
The hotel group received the accolade for its exceptional contribution to luxury hospitality at a gala event held in its Grand African Ballroom on July 14.
This is coming barely three months after it won the Best Nigerian Hotel Brand of the Year 2024 at the International Hospitality, Tourism and Eco-Sustainability Forum in April.
The Hotel of the Year award is a significant addition to the impressive list of awards already won by the Continental Hotels Group Nigeria.
This latest award, which is an acknowledgement of outstanding service and remarkable performance in the luxury hospitality industry, further underscores the leadership of the hotel group in the African luxury hospitality sector.
The General Manager of the hotel group, Karl Hala, in a keynote address delivered at the gala event, emphasized the importance of integrating technology into hospitality to enhance guest experiences and ensure service excellence.
“In an ever-evolving technological world, it’s up to us as hospitality professionals to keep up with the times and look for innovative ways to continuously improve our service, such as using algorithms to personalise services for guests based on their past behaviours and experiences,” he stated.
In his acceptance speech, Hala attributed the award to the cumulative efforts of management and staff to make Lagos Continental Hotel a standout success.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed to this achievement. Specifically, I acknowledge the staff and the entire Continental Hotels Group Nigeria team for fostering a culture of warmth, hospitality, and exceptional guest experiences. Every milestone we reach, we achieve together, as a family,” he said.
Lagos Continental consistently sets the bar high with its exceptional hotel services defined by state-of-the-art amenities, luxurious accommodations, and advanced conference facilities, which are designed to meet the diverse needs of guests in Lagos, the bustling economic capital of Nigeria.
