Several houses and properties worth hundreds of millions of Naira have been burnt to ashes as a petroleum pipeline went up in flames around the Abule-Egba area of Lagos State, on Sunday evening.
The fire is still raging as at time if filing this report.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained as at time of filling this report, but The Nigerian Xpress gathered that men of the Lagos State Fire Service are still battling to put out the fire but the intensity of the inferno appeared to overwhelm the fire men currently battling the fire.
