Kwara Gov. approves December salary payment

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has approved the payment of December, 2021, salary to the civil servants in the state to enable them meet up with their needs, during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.

This approval, Governor AbdulRazaq noted was to forestall financial difficulties amongst civil servants in the State’s employ and their Dependants.

According to pundits, the approval, which they describe as ‘commendable’ came while other States in Nigeria, most of whom are richer than Kwara, still await the release of federal allocations noting that it testified to the government’s commitment to workers’ and citizens’ welfare.
