Abducted players of Enyimba Football club midfielder, Dayo Ojo and Abia Comet player, Benjamin Iluyomade, have been released by their abductors.
The two players had stayed fours days in the kidnappers’ captivity.
Recall that Dayo Ojo and Benjamin Iluyomade were abducted by gunmen, on March 22, along the Benin-Akure highway at Ipele town in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State on their way to Akure after their clubs declared an emergency holiday following the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country.

Enyimba Football Club confirmed the release of the players in a statement via its official twitter page.
The news comes with huge relief for fans of Nigerian Football, which has recorded some tragedies with the death of three players in the last few weeks.
