Mr. Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential aide and stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has disclosed the release of Najeebah and her siblings from the den of kidnappers.
Recall that the six sisters were kidnapped sometime ago but their abductors killed one of them over failure of their family to meet the N100 million hundred million ransom demand.
However, Ahmad has revealed that a relative of their from captivity, praying that the kidnappers should be arrested and punished.
Earlier, an uncle to the girls, Kabiru Aminu, had broken the news of their release, posted a video on his X handle @kabiru_aminu, showing the sisters and their relatives jubilating.
“#Najeebahandhersisters are home right now, someone please wake me up!” he tweeted.
“#Najeebahandhersisters. These girls are strong,” he added in a follow up tweet.
The six sisters had been abducted alongside their father, who was later released.
