The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has yesterday flag-off the Meter Asset Provider to its customers in Jigawa state.
Speaking at the flagging off the chief operating officer of KEDCO Mr Harish Sharma who was represented by the head of operating unit Alhaji Nura Wada Nas said, the purpose of introducing the meter is to bring an end to estimate billing and to end customer complains on power shortage.

According to him, KEDCO as a company is always ready to respond to the customers complain and satisfy their needs at any moment.
He then urged their customers to get registered with the meter at any KEDCO office, threatening to disconnect any body who didn’t comply with the new system.
While making his remarks, the representative of Armesse Consulting limited,Mr Francis Jack whom provided the meter to KEDCO promised to make it available and at affordable price for every consumer.
He explained that for local consumers the company prepared single face meter would be sold at the price of N38,000 while N70,000 for three face ones.
He then assured more qualitative service to the public for a better well-being of their consumers and the economy at large.
