There are strong indications that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has perfected plans to meet the party’s governors in Abuja today (Monday).
Venue of the meeting point is yet to be disclosed as at time of filing this report.
This was coming a few hours after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo officially declared his presidential bid after meeting with some governors on the platform of the party, on Sunday.

It was also gathered that Tinubu’s planed meeting with the APC governors would be to formally brief the APC governors of his intention to run for president in 2023.
Recalled that since Tinubu formally informed President Muhammadu Buhari in December 2021 of his intention to contest, he had embarked on nationwide tour of consultations to top traditional rulers especially in his South West Region.
Tinubu had also met with the National Assembly Caucus of the APC in both chambers where the Federal legislators assured him of support.
