JUST IN: Senate confirms Prof. Mahmood Yakubu as INEC chair for 2nd term

The Senate, on Tuesday, confirmed the appointment of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Prof. Yakubu’s confirmation was given during Senate plenary, in Abuja.
