Residents of Lagos and Ogun states as well as those in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, would have to remain indoors for another seven days (May 4, 2020) as President Muhammaru Buhari, in a nationwide broadcast, on Monday evening, extended the lockdown in those places.
Also, the president announced a total lockdown of Kano State for 14 days following rising wave of mysterious deaths that now pervades the state.
