It was a bloody Monday at Shogunle area of Oshodi in the Lagos metropolis as suspected kidnappers were busted by irate mob and security operatives.
Six suspects were apprehended in the operation, and were beaten to stupor by the mob.

According to an eyewitness, one of the Lagos State Waste Management (LASEMA) road workers was about to be pushed inside the pit by the suspected kidnappers when she shouted and raised an alarm.
The eyewitness narrated that the police officers at Ikeja Area ‘F’ and Shogunle Police Station were immediately alerted to rescue the woman and arrested four men beneath the walk-way pit.
He added that Army uniforms officers from PWD were also at the scene.
