JUST IN: Funke Akindele’s lawyers, court officials in shouting match

There was a reported case of a shouting match at the Ogba Chief Magistrates Court, in Lagos State, on Monday, between lawyers representing Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello and her husband and court officials as the lawyers claimed they were denied access to the count room.

It was gathered that of the four lawyers that were to represent the actress and her husband, only two were finally allowed into the court room after much argument.

The couple were being arraigned for breaching the Lagos Infection Diseases Regulations 2020 (the Regulations) for holding a house party despite the lockdown at their Amen estate home on Saturday April 5.
