Dethroned Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi II on Tuesday leaves Loko residence, a town in Nasarawa State, where he was banished after arriving around 3, am Tuesday morning.
He was airlifted in a Police helicopter with registration number 5N-LEH at about 2.25 pm to the new place where he would be relocated.

A source told Solacebase that the deposed Emir would be moved to Awe, which is a one hour drive from Lafia, the state capital.
The Source said the Secretary to Nasarawa State Government, Ahmed Aliyu Tijjani led the government team that went to supervise the new abode of Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II which they believe would be more comfortable to him than that of Loko.
