In a terse tweet from Adesina’s verified twitter account, @Femi Adesina, the presidential spokesman said that the report of a presidemntial broadcast was sheer fake news and not on the agenda of the president for Monday, May 18, 2020.
The tweet read, “No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps.”
