President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the 10th virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Aso rock Presidential Villa, in Abuja.
The meeting started at 10:00am with rendition of the National Anthem.
It also observed a minute silence in honour of the father of Governor Abdulganiyu Abdulrazak (SAN) of Kwara State, who was a Minister of Railways in the First Republic.
The virtual meeting also has the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN); the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd), in attendance.
The cabinet ministers physically in attendance included the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN; Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed; Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika; Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; Minister of Environment, Mohammed Mahmoud and the Minister of Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo.
Also physically present at the meeting were Minister of Power, Engr. Saleh Man and the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.
Other Ministers were to participate from their various offices, in Abuja.
